Sunday 10th September
14:14: So I forgot to write for two days, but that's okay because I'm doing it now. On the 8th at the gym we did shoulders and triceps. Here's what I did:
- Reverse Fly Machine (shoulders and triceps) 5kg 3 x 10
- Shoulder Press (shoulders and triceps) 4kg 3 x 10
- Tricep pull downs (shoulders and triceps) 7.5kg 3 x 10
- Lateral raises (shoulders) 4kg 3 x 10
- Tricep try downs (triceps) 2.5kg 3 x 10
I can't remember much about it if I'm honest. I need to be more consistent with writing on here or I need to make notes when I'm there and then write them up later. Anyway, on the night of the 8th/morning of the 9th I slept for 9hrs 28min, with 2h47m deep sleep, 6h12m light sleep and apparently I was awake for 29m. I woke up feeling very tired and as if I'd barely slept at all, which was very frustrating considering how well I've been doing. I think it's because of how hot it was that night, but we'll see.
In the evening Joe and I walked around the Uni campus, and I was surprised at how many steps the walk was (about 7,000).
On the 9th it was leg day. I did the following:
- Bulgarian split squats 3 x 10
- Leg extensions (quads) 15kg 2 x 10 + 17.5kg 1 x 10
- RDL (glutes) 3 x 10
- Leg curl 15kg 1 x 10 + 17.5 1 x 10 + 20kg 1 x 10
- Calf raises 7kg (3 x 15)
It was a good workout. My legs don't hurt as much as they did on our first leg day and I got to try out more exercises. Next time I really want to try the kickback and thrust machines.
Last night I slept better than I did the night before for a total of 7h26m, 2h48m deep sleep and 4h31m light sleep with 7m awake. I felt more refreshed than I did yesterday morning but not by much. Today is chest day and I'll write about it tomorrow. That's all for now.
