It begins...

So I've decided to get into fitness and today is the day I decided to do it properly. I joined the gym a few days ago so I want to document my fitness journey in a way that I can look back on. With my ADHD there was no way I was going to invest in anything physical like a notebook so I've decided to make myself a blog/database to help. I'm going to use MyFitness to track my eating and I plan to hit the gym four times a week and swim. I hope I can stick to it because with third year coming up I know it will be difficult but I'm very excited to see how it turns out.

So far I've been to the gym three times. The first time was just to have a go so I didn't really do much. For that reason I'm considering the second time as day one and going from there.

Day 1:
Legs:
- Bulgarian Split Squats 3 x 10
- Leg Extensions 15kg 3 x 10

Shoulders:
- Shoulder Shrugs 8kg 3 x 10
- Unilateral raises 3kg 3 x 10

Triceps
- Pull downs 7.5kg 3 x 10
- Over head pulls/extensions 2.5kg 3 x 10

Abs:
- Russian Twists 5kg 15 x 3
- Weighted Crunches 15kg 15 x 3

Day 2:
Chest:
- Cable Chest Fly 2.5kg 3 x 10
- Low Cable Chest Fly 1.25kg 3 x 10

Biceps:
- Hammer Curls 4kg 3 x 10
- Forearm Curls 8kg 3 x 10

Back:
- Lateral Pull Downs 20 kg 3 x 10
- Seated Row 15kg 3 x 10

Cardio
- Treadmill 10 minutes
(I wanted to cycle for a while and do more cardio but the machine was busy and we needed to leave.)

When I left the gym I even had a protein shake! Go me! I also made an Instagram account that I'm going to use solely for fitness. I hope I can keep up this blog but I can imagine that it will be very messy as I figure out the best way to format it but oh well I'm excited!
